The Jackson County Historical Society depends on donations to provide quality programs and services. Please consider donating; as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donations are tax-deductible. Our Memorial Tree program, launched in 1993, allows donors to designate a donation as a memorial to a loved one. Memorials totaling $50 or more will have a brass plaque placed on the Memorial Tree. Memorials under $50 but totaling at least $50 with more than one donor will be noted as "Family and Friends".

If you agree that preserving the past and present is important for the future and that an active historical society offers significant cultural contributions to our county, please become a Jackson County Historical Society member today!

Here are some of our more pressing needs:

We ask that donated items have a direct connection to Jackson County, such as items that were owned, used, or made by someone living in the county. We also accept family history and genealogy books.
